Your membership and donations assist VADSA in supporting Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) in South Australia.
The VAD Act passed the Parliament on June 24, 2021, and received Royal Assent on August 24, 2021.
VAD commenced in South Australia on January 31, 2023.
All Australian states have legislation allowing VAD in their state. VAD commences in the ACT in November 2025. The NT does not have VAD legislation.
Your membership shows Members of Parliament you care and that you support South Australians having the legal choice to end their suffering, providing they meet the eligibility criteria detailed in the VAD Act.
All members receive the VADSA Bulletin twice each year, invitations to our regular public meetings and email updates.
