Your membership and donations assist VADSA in the campaign for voluntary assisted dying in South Australia.
The VAD Act passed the Parliament on June 24, 2021, and received Royal Assent on August 24. However VAD is still not a choice for South Australians - until the VAD Act commences.
No date has been set for commencement. VADSA continues to campaign for a maximum 18 month gap between passage of the legislation and commencement, similar to all other states in Australia.
All members receive the VADSA Bulletin three times each year, the VADSA Newsletter published every sitting week, invitations to our regular public meetings and regular email updates.
