My Dad's experience with VAD

Guest speaker will be Cheryl McKenna who will talk about her and her Dad Jim's experience using voluntary assisted dying. Jim had cancer. His VAD story starts in a hospital in Melbourne and then moves to his home town in Warrnambool, Victoria, where he could be with his close friend, his dog Dudley.

VAD has been available in Victoria since June 2019.

We will also provide an update on commencement of VAD in South Australia.     

Note: the meeting will be conducted under COVID 19 rules with a limit on the number able to attend.
