Barossa Candles for Compassion sunset vigil, Sunday April 11.
Local community members gathered in Coulthard House Community Garden in Nuriootpa and shared their stories of the difficult, painful deaths of family and friends.
Those gathered so hope that the current South Australian Parliament will finally pass the Voluntary Assisted Dying Bill and stop more people suffering at the end of their life.
Jacqui Possingham, from Greenock, organised the vigil and is pictured with the board she made with the photos of those family members and friends.
Angie Miller, host of facebook page A Peaceful End, organised a similar Riverland vigil on the shores of Lake Bonney the evening before.
The names of each person were read out.
